20th Annual Conference of the National Task Force on CME Provider/Industry Collaboration

Marc Scheineson spoke on the panel "Politics, Transparency, Costs, CME, and the Health Care Reform Update" on October 15, 9:15am - 10:45am, during this conference hosted by the American Medical Association (AMA).  Marc's panel focused on CME amid the Washington debates on conflict of interest, patient care and health care reform.  The panel also discussed emerging legislation including the Physician Payment Sunshine Act, reports by important health organizations, and developments at HHS and FDA and their potential effect on the CME enterprise.  The conference provided the opportunity to network and participate in sessions featuring industry experts.
