23rd ECFC Annual Flexible Benefit Administrators’ Symposium

John Hickman and Ashley Gillihan were featured presenters at this conference hosted by the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC).  The event focused on the variety of legislative and regulatory issues that will impact the industry going forward.  Businesses cannot be a part of the health industry, flex business or even be covered by a health insurance policy without being affected by the tidal wave of health care change that has been forthcoming from Congress this past year.

John and Ashley presented "On the Road Again Despite Major Highway Construction: A Critical Look at The Year in Review and the Road Ahead” on August 4, 3:45pm - 5:45pm, Their panel discussed how PPACA, HIPAA HITECH and other developments affect FSAs, HRAs, HSAs, and their administrators and custodians.  Ashley also presented "Slippery When Wet: MSP CMS Reporting" on August 5, 10:15am - 11:15am, and "To Trust or Not to Trust" on August 5, 11:15pm - 12:15pm.   John also presented "OTC – Caution Speed Bumps" on August 5, 3:45pm - 5:45pm.
