Steve Hemminger Elected to Joint Venture Board of Directors

Steve Hemminger, partner-in-charge of Alston & Bird’s Silicon Valley office and partner in the Intellectual Property Group, has been elected to Joint Venture Silicon Valley’s board of directors.
Hemminger was elected for his, “substantial experience in litigation of patent, trademark and trade secret cases in the electronics, semiconductor and computer software and hardware fields,” according to the press release.
The 50-member Joint Venture board of directors includes senior-level representatives from business, local and regional government, academia, labor and workforce organizations and the broader community with initiatives to support economic development, strengthen climate protection, establish a disaster resiliency center, broaden the region’s wireless network and beautify the El Camino Real.
