Charlie Morgan represents employers in connection with all matters relating to labor and employment and compliance, including litigating labor and employment claims, including jury trials and class and collective actions, litigating occupational safety and health matters before administrative bodies and appellate courts, defending employers in traditional labor matters, and defending public accommodation disability claims under federal and state laws.
His trial experience includes obtaining serving as lead counsel in federal court jury trials regarding race discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation, in which he obtained defense verdicts. He frequently represents employers in FLSA collective actions, and recently defeated a putative nation-wide class action regarding a commission pay plan.
Charlie also has led successful anti-union campaigns across the nation, and obtained victories in union organizing campaigns for employers against the Sheet Metal Workers, the United Mine Workers, the Teamsters, PACE International and the Iron Workers.

Charlie has extensive experience in litigating occupational safety and health citations in federal and state forums on a national basis, including actions involving plant explosions, multiple fatalities and early attempts at applying OSHA’s Process Safety Management Standard. His most recent experience includes serving as lead counsel for a manufacturer which suffered a multi-fatality explosion and fire, and has much experience managing and responding to multi-agency catastrophe investigations involving OSHA, MSHA, and the Chemical Safety Board.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1988 and received his B.A. from Emory University in 1985. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.
