Christy Prendergast concentrates her practice on securities transactions, complex corporate finance transactions, securities regulation and regulatory matters for financial institutions. She has represented financial institutions in a variety of financing structures, including syndicated lending products, securitizations of consumer and commercial assets, secured credit facilities, revolving warehouse facilities and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. She has represented clients in developing corporate structures as well as counseling clients in corporate and securities compliance matters. She has also represented government and private entities in investigations of various corporate and financing activities.
Christy received her J.D. degree, cum laude, in 2002 from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Washington & Lee Law Review, and the recipient of the Harmon Scholarship award. She received her B.A. in 1999 from the University of Virginia.
