Seol Namgoong is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Seol was a judicial extern to the Hon. Dorothy Kim of the California Court of Appeals, 2nd Appellate District, where she drafted court opinions and legal memorandums for cases involving arbitration of landlord-tenant agreements and court assessment and restitution fines for indigent defendants. She also worked at the Economic Justice Law Clinic where she drafted complaints for clients regarding unlawful evictions and fraud and conducted numerous client intake interviews.
Seol received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School where she served as an assistant rector. She received her B.A. from Amherst College.
