Service to the community is a cornerstone of our firm’s culture and Alston & Bird volunteers dedicate their time to a number of organizations that meet basic needs in the community. In 2009, Alston & Bird, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, built its 12th Habitat House. Volunteers in Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Raleigh helped fight hunger by donating more than 350 hours at local food banks. Our volunteers help support education by participating in Everybody Wins! Power Lunch reading program, a literacy program for at-risk elementary school children in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta.
Alston & Bird has deep roots in the communities in which we live and work. Our attorneys and staff serve on the boards of local, state and national and international organizations that are dedicated to a variety of causes that make our communities stronger.
