Ronald L. Reid received his B.A. degree from Emory University in 1957 and his LL.B. from Emory University School of Law in 1963. He joined the firm in 1963 and has been a partner with Alston & Bird since 1967, as well as being a former chair of the Litigation Department. He has represented a variety of clients in products liability litigation, medical products and devices, pharmaceuticals, household products and marine products. He is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, State Bar of Georgia, Lawyers Club of Atlanta, Old Warhorse Lawyers Club and Atlanta Bar Association (former President 1976-77). Mr. Reid has lectured and instructed on trial practice for the National Institute For Trial Advocacy (NITA), Atlanta and State Bar Committees for Continuing Legal Education and Emory Law School (Adjunct Professor 1971-80).
