Shiraz Tangri Quoted in Los Angeles Daily Journal

Shiraz Tangri was quoted in a Los Angeles Daily Journal article reporting that Jurupa Valley, California, is considering eliminating from its base zoning code new regional distribution warehouses, trucking and freight companies, outdoor heavy equipment storage and recycling businesses because of concerns about traffic and pollution.
According to the article, this has the potential to spur law suits. Tangri said, “Property owners in regions that enact hurdles for certain developments sometimes believe their rights to develop their property in a certain way are being cut off... a particular developer may feel the rules are aimed at keeping out their development.”
“You could get some litigation interest there,” he said.
