Kelly C. Wilcove

Kelly Wilcove is a partner in the Securities Litigation Group and a member of the Insurance Litigation & Regulation practice section. She focuses her practice on a variety of securities litigation matters and other complex commercial and business-related litigation, including securities class actions, derivative suits and broker-dealer-related litigation.

Ms. Wilcove is a board member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) and the GAWL Foundation, and serves as vice president of GAWL’s Strategic Partnerships Committee. Kelly was awarded GAWL’s 2006 Spotlight Award and was honored as a 2007 Committee Star. She also sits on the Events Planning Committee and Research Committee for the Board of Directors of Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women on corporate boards of directors. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association and the Atlanta Lawyer’s Club. Ms. Wilcove has written and lectured on a variety of securities litigation, corporate disclosure and insurance-related matters.

Representative Experience

  • Counsel to a $1.9 billion company and leading supplier of transmission networks for broadband access and certain officers and directors of the company in a putative federal securities class action and various related individual and derivative actions alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (Exchange Act).
  • Counsel to one of the largest global financial institutions, providing a wide array of banking, insurance, and asset management services, in action alleging state blue-sky securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and lack of supervision claims.
  • Counsel to an industry-leading specialty pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical distribution services company and certain of its directors and officers in federal class action and derivative lawsuits alleging violations of the Exchange Act.
  • Counsel to a leading global provider of innovative business communications and data services and certain of its officers and directors in a federal securities class action suit and related individual actions alleging violations of the Securities Act of 1933 and Exchange Act.
  • Counsel to the world leader in recovery auditing and a leading profit improvement firm and certain of its officers in a putative class action alleging violations of the Securities and Exchange Act.
  • Counsel to the world leader in providing products and services needed for multiservice communications networks around the world and certain of its officers in a state blue-sky securities fraud and RICO action.
