Mark Vasco is a partner in the Litigation & Trial Practice Group, resident in the firm's Charlotte office. Admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New York and North Carolina, Mr. Vasco handles complex business disputes for clients across the country, with a special emphasis on prosecuting and defending actions concerning trade-secret misappropriation and breach of noncompetition agreements. Mr. Vasco has been listed among North Carolina's "Legal Elite" and "Super Lawyers," and has served as an adjunct professor of trial practice at the Charlotte School of Law. Mr. Vasco's clients range from international, publicly traded consulting firms, energy conglomerates and financial institutions, to middle-market technology companies and manufacturers.

- Represented a major international energy company in the defense of multimillion-dollar claims for theft of technical trade secrets and tortious interference with contracts.
- Represented a commercial product manufacturer in a suit against a former executive and competitor involving alleged theft of trade secrets and tortious interference with customer relationships.
- Represented an international pharmaceutical company in the defense of a multimillion-dollar action involving allegations of unfair competition, unfair and deceptive trade practices and tortious interference with contract.
- Obtained summary judgment for a publicly-traded entertainment company in a premises liability lawsuit arising out of the criminal actions of a former employee.
- Under the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code, drafted a successful motion to decertify a class in a multimillion-dollar class action against a national finance company.
