Mike has extensive experience defending companies in class action litigation throughout the United States. He has defended major corporations in more than 100 class action lawsuits, with numerous significant victories at both the trial and appellate level.
Mike has served as lead appellate counsel in numerous federal and state cases, including the U.S. Supreme Court, and also has represented Fortune 500 companies, the Georgia Republican Party, and the late Senator Paul Coverdell in an unsuccessful attempt by his opponents to overturn the results of a U.S. Senate election.
Mike is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Northern District of Georgia, and the Georgia Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal.
Mike has authored or co-authored more than a dozen law review articles as well as a chapter on the private enforcement of the antitrust laws in Antitrust Adviser.
