Peggy Kane

Ms. Kane's practice focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation. Her practice is both national and international, with clients located across the United States and in Germany, Taiwan and Canada. Ms. Kane's litigation experience includes complex business disputes in a wide range of industries, as well as employment, antitrust and real estate litigation. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Kane also dedicates significant time to pro bono immigration matters on behalf of Spanish-speaking clients. Ms. Kane has handled cases in federal and state courts across the country, the International Trade Commission, and international arbitration tribunals.

Representative Experience

  • Represents a Taiwanese manufacturer of semiconductor chips as the complainant in an International Trade Commission investigation alleging trade secret misappropriation and patent infringement.
  • Represents a German energy company in a contract dispute over a coal sales agreement.
  • Successfully defended a Canadian manufacturer in arbitration with a former distributor seeking approximately $60 million for alleged fraud and unfair competition.
  • Successfully defended a U.S. software company in federal litigation with a customer alleging fraud in connection with software sales and implementation.
