Pro Bono Committee Grant Program
Any employee of Alston & Bird is eligible to submit a simple online grant application on behalf of the nonprofit organization of his or her choice. Grants come in amounts between $250 and $2500 and are based on the employee’s commitment to the organization. The Pro Bono Committee in each city votes independently on the grant applications for their office and awards funds accordingly. Through its Pro Bono Committee grants program, Alston & Bird has contributed to over 200 different nonprofit organizations since 2005.
As an example, the committee recently approved a grant to Trinity Community Ministries that allowed them to purchase three new laptops.
