Yitai Hu is an internationally recognized IP litigator and practitioner. Yitai’s U.S. practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, and has served as lead counsel in more than 30 cases before U.S. district courts and state courts concerning patent, trade secret and licensing disputes. Having handled more than 18 cases, ten of which as lead counsel, he also has extensive experience with Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission. He has represented clients in litigation involving semiconductor technologies, non-volatile memories, liquid crystal displays, light emitting diodes, computer monitors, projectors, optical navigation technologies, computer network products, wireless network communications products, integrated circuit (IC) packaging, microprocessor technologies and circuit designs. He also has arbitrated cases, both in the United States and abroad, involving licensing and technology transfer disputes.
For his U.S. practice Yitai has been named as one of the Top 75 Leading IP Litigators in California by the San Francisco Daily Journal in 2011, and one of the "Top 50 Under 45" by IP Law & Business in 2008 as one of the top IP practitioners in the U.S. under the age of 45. Yitai is also ranked in Chambers’ Global 2011 as a U.S. Intellectual Property Regional Expert.
