Andrew Jones is an associate in the Financial Services & Products Group and is a member of the firm's REIT team. He focuses his practice on representing REITs in their formation, public securities offerings, private placements, ongoing securities law compliance, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.
Andrew received his J.D., summa cum laude, in 2009 from the Georgia State University College of Law. While attending Georgia State University, Andrew served as research editor of the Georgia State University Law Review and clerked for Judge Thelma W. Cummings Moore with the Fulton County Superior Court. Andrew received his Masters in Accountancy in 2004 from the University of Georgia, where he also received his B.B.A. in accounting, magna cum laude and with high honors, in 2003.
Andrew is also a certified public accountant. Prior to attending law school, Andrew was a senior associate with another firm where he primarily audited publicly held corporations and provided litigation support services relating to audit malpractice claims and valuations of damages.
