Catherine Fenoglio is a senior associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Workouts & Reorganizations Group. Ms. Fenoglio focuses her practice in the areas of business reorganization, restructuring and bankruptcy law, and has experience representing official unsecured creditors’ committees, equity committees, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, parties to executory contracts and other parties in interest in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. She also has experience representing foreign representatives in ancillary proceedings, defendants in avoidance actions, and professional service firms with respect to bankruptcy retention and fee-related issues.
In 2003, Ms. Fenoglio received her J.D. from New York University School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Fenoglio was a member of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Ms. Fenoglio received her B.S. degree, cum laude, in psychology from Texas A&M University in 2000.
- Represented the interim receiver appointed in the Russian bankruptcy proceedings of Yukos Oil Company, the bankruptcy trustee of Daewoo Corporation, and the bankruptcy trustee of Samsun Logix Corporation in their respective Chapter 15 ancillary proceedings.
- Represented the unsecured creditors’ committees in Spiegel, Inc. (S.D.N.Y.); Parmalat USA Corp. (S.D.N.Y.); Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center (S.D.N.Y.); Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York (S.D.N.Y., 2005-2007); Vanderveer Estates Holding, LLC (E.D.N.Y.); Noble Drew Ali Plaza Housing Corp. (S.D.N.Y.); Med Diversified, Inc. (E.D.N.Y.); International Total Services, Inc. (E.D.N.Y.); New York United Hospital Medical Center (S.D.N.Y.); Parkway Hospital (S.D.N.Y.); Cabrini Medical Center (S.D.N.Y); and Victory Memorial Hospital (E.D.N.Y.).
