Chris Gunnels is a senior associate in the firm’s Products Liability Group. Although his current practice is concentrated in the areas of mass torts, toxic torts and products liability, Mr. Gunnels has significant experience in handling a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. He has successfully defended clients in cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, probate disputes and complex commercial issues, and has extensive experience in handling appellate matters.
Mr. Gunnels graduated, with honors, from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2002. While at Alabama, he served as a senior editor and treasurer of the Alabama Law Review, and won several awards for skill in oral advocacy in competition with the Environmental Moot Court Team. Mr. Gunnels was also elected to the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
Mr. Gunnels is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida. He has served the Georgia Bar Association by sitting on its Formal Advisory Opinion Board and through work assisting the Board of Bar Examiners.
