Courtney Wright is counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Finance & Investment Group. She focuses her practice on the areas of real estate finance and the capital markets.
Courtney has particular experience in the representation of institutional lenders, investment banks, mezzanine funds and portfolio lenders in connection with the origination of commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and loan restructurings for all asset classes.
She received her J.D. in 2006 from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. in 2003 from UCLA.
- Represented an institutional lender in a $300+ million loan origination of a trophy-asset shopping mall and subsequent standalone securitization.
- Represented a portfolio lender in the floating-rate mortgage and mezzanine financing of five hotels located in three states.
- Served as loan origination counsel in a $358 million multiproperty retail center financing with ground lease structure.
- Ongoing representation of a national rating agency in its review of subordinate debt and leasehold financing structures for loans to be included in various securitization pools.
