David Eklund, a senior associate in the New York office, is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property - Litigation Group, the firm’s IP & Technology Transactions and Trademarks Groups, and the Fashion & Luxury Goods practice. David focuses on patent litigation, as well as copyright and trademark transactional matters. David’s experience includes worldwide investigation and enforcement activities under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Mr. Eklund served as law clerk to The Honorable Steven D. Pepe, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, from August 2005 to August 2006.
In 2005, David received his J.D. from Duke School of Law, where he was a member of the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum. He received his B.A. degree in history from the University of Michigan in 2000.
Mr. Eklund was admitted to practice in the state of New York in 2006.
