Debra Lofano is an associate in the Global Finance & Debt Products Group. Her practice focuses on mortgage-backed, asset-backed securitization and collateral and debt obligations. Recently she has counseled clients with transactional, bankruptcy and other litigation issues relating to the financial markets crisis and the resulting contraction of the global capital markets.
Ms. Lofano received her J.D. in 2008 from Wake Forest University, where she served on the executive council of the Wake Forest Moot Court Board. Ms. Lofano received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Italian and history of art and architecture from Middlebury College in 2001.
Ms. Lofano is admitted to practice in the state courts of North Carolina; in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina; and in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
