Gavin Reinke focuses his practice on class action defense, with a particular emphasis on data security and privacy matters, and defense of companies in False Claims Act litigation and government investigations. His experience also includes representing businesses in products liability litigation, financial services litigation, and complex commercial disputes. The Best Lawyers in America^© recognized Gavin as “Ones to Watch” in the area of Commercial Litigation for 2023 and 2024.

Before joining Alston & Bird, Gavin was a law clerk for the Honorable Phyllis A. Kravitch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and an intern for the Honorable John T. Nixon of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. While in law school, Gavin was inducted into the Order of the Coif and was a recipient of the Richard Nagareda Prize for litigation & dispute resolution, the managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, a moot court board member, a moot court competition octofinalist, and the vice president and three-year representative of the Honor Council.
