George Espinal serves as counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Finance & Investment Group, based out of the New York office. Mr. Espinal concentrates his practice in the area of commercial real estate finance, with a particular focus on the origination and restructuring of permanent, mezzanine, construction and bridge loans secured by all types of real estate collateral. Mr. Espinal regularly represents investment banks, hedge funds, insurance companies and other financial institutions in connection with single-asset loans, senior-subordinate loan structures and multistate, cross-collateralized and cross-defaulted loans involving both fee and leasehold interests.
Mr. Espinal also routinely represents his clients in connection with all aspects of the purchase, sale, participation and syndication of performing and non-performing mortgage and mezzanine loans.
