Jessica Hartzog is a member of the firm’s Financial Services & Products Group. She focuses her practice on securities compliance and banking regulation, mergers and acquisitions, payment systems transactions and regulatory issues, corporate governance, and other corporate and securities matters for public and private companies primarily within the financial services industry.
Jessica received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Duke University School of Law in 2009, where she served as managing editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law and as a teaching assistant for Legal Analysis, Research and Writing. Jessica received a B.S., magna cum laude, in business administration and a B.A., magna cum laude, in corporate communication from College of Charleston in 2003.
- Counsel to public and private companies with respect to acquisitions and other general corporate matters, including representation of the purchaser in a successful loss-share acquisition of a financial institution and representation of the purchaser in the acquisition of a wealth management firm.
- Counsel to multiple financial institutions in connection with ACH, remote deposit capture, wire transfer and other treasury management agreements.
