Josh Becker concentrates his practice on complex litigation, including mass torts and class actions. He represents clients in numerous states, with his recent experience including consumer product and consumer fraud class actions, hydraulic fracturing/fracking litigation, greenwashing/green guide compliance and the matters pertaining to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). He also counsels clients on risk management and due diligence specific to product liability exposure. Mr. Becker currently serves on the editorial board of LJN’s Product Liability Law & Strategy.
Mr. Becker provides pro bono representation to various organizations and individuals. He represented a Nepali citizen in a successful U.S. Immigration Court trial and also successfully defended his client following the government’s appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals. He serves on various non-profit boards and also serves on the firm’s hiring committee.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Becker served as the deputy press secretary for United States Senator Bob Graham. He graduated with his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida, College of Law, where he was the executive notes and comments editor of the Florida Law Review.

- Counsel to a leading national restaurant chain in several purported class actions involving the sodium content of its meals.
- Counsel in litigation involving the sterilization of surgical instruments used in over 3,800 surgeries.
- Counsel in a mass action brought by over 1,600 coal miners alleging personal injuries from isocyanate exposure in Alabama.
- Counsel to national wood products company against over 1,400 personal injury claims arising from chemical emissions at a wood treatment facility.
- Counsel to an international beverage manufacturer in lawsuits claiming consumer fraud and false advertising.
- Counsel to healthcare professionals in malpractice lawsuits and state board investigations.
