- Represented a fire and rescue apparatus manufacturer as plaintiff in district court litigation and appeals in a dispute with a competitor relating to aerial fire apparatus. - Represented a telecommunications company as respondent in an ITC investigation and as defendant in district court litigation relating to optical data transmission in subsea wavelength division-multiplexed (WDM) systems. - Represented a telecommunications company as complainant in an ITC investigation and as plaintiff in district court litigation relating to power management and antenna design in mobile communication devices. A problem solver who puts her clients' needs first, Lindsay pulls from her background in journalism to identify creative solutions and get to the root of IP disputes effectively for clients.
Lindsay Church is counsel with the Intellectual Property Litigation Team in Alston & Bird’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling and has experience with matters involving licensing and F/RAND obligations.
Lindsay received her J.D. from Harvard University, where she served as the managing editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy and co-editor-in-chief for The Harvard Law Record. In law school, Lindsay received a human rights fellowship to work at an organization in London that provides legal assistance to journalists around the world. She also conducted research on free speech as a visiting student at the University of Oxford’s Programme in Comparative Media Law & Policy. Lindsay received her B.A. in journalism, summa cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, where she also graduated with honors from the South Carolina Honors College. Lindsay served on the board of directors for VOX Teen Communications.
