Marilee Fiebig Holmes' practice concentrates on business immigration, including temporary working status and permanent residence for professionals, international transfers, investors, researchers, artists and athletes. In securing appropriate status for foreign national employees, Ms. Holmes works with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Labor and Department of State. Ms. Holmes also provides assistance with global immigration issues for multinational companies and advises companies on general immigration policies, planning and I-9 and E-Verify compliance. Ms. Holmes has also managed I-9 audits and investigations for large and small companies.
Ms. Holmes has also been a participant in immigration conferences and seminars, where she has covered topics ranging from business immigration matters to human trafficking and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) issues. Ms. Holmes is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. In addition, she holds a certificate from L’ Institut d ‘Etudes Politiques (Science Po) in Paris, where she studied for a year.
