Mitra Eskandari-Azari, senior associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office, practices in both IP litigation and IP transactional work. Her IP litigation practice includes patent, trade secret, trade dress, trademark and copyright disputes. Mitra’s patent litigation practice focuses on software and business method patents, where she represents several technology and internet clients in protecting their technologies and patent rights. Mitra’s trademark and copyright litigation practice focuses on content protection in the entertainment, technology and consumer products industries. She also represents several content creators in protecting and commercializing their intellectual property.
Mitra’s transactional practice focuses on the procurement, protection and licensing of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks and copyrights, and the enforcement of these rights on the internet. She also advises clients in the naming and branding process, manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, reviews and clears product designs, and negotiates and drafts licensing deals of intellectual property rights.
