April Chen is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. April has represented clients before the federal district courts, the state courts and the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) in patent and trade secret disputes involving mobile devices, integrated circuit designs and wireless network communications products. Prior to joining Alston & Bird, April practiced as a patent litigator and patent agent with the largest law firm in Taiwan and she represented clients in patent litigation and prosecution involving a variety of technical disciplines.
April received her LL.M. in 2007 from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She also holds a Master of Law from National Taipei University and a B.S. in Engineering from National Taiwan University. She is admitted to practice in New York and California, as well as Taiwan.
