EXPERIENCE
Our experience is reflected in hundreds of developed property acquisitions, both for single investors and in joint ventures with other investor and developer parties; acquisitions for development, including “forward” and “pre-development” acquisitions by investors and developers; and hundreds of dispositions of improved assets and other real estate interests though various structures designed to reduce risk and transaction costs and minimize or defer taxes. Our deals include multijurisdictional portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, single building purchase and sale transactions and a timber portfolio land sale to multiple parties that collectively comprised the largest U.S. land sale since the Louisiana Purchase and involved over 70 of our lawyers from 12 practice disciplines.

Our clients include institutional investors and owners -- pension funds, insurance companies, REITs, banks and owner/users. We also provide counsel to non-institutional investors and developers.
