Jeff Sural was the moderator of this webcast sponsored by American Airlines Cargo. The congressional mandate to screen 100 percent of air cargo transported on all passenger planes went into effect on August 1, 2010. This roundtable brought together an expert panel to discuss cargo screening and what it means to the private sector. The panelists also discussed the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) program to distribute cargo screening throughout the supply chain – the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP). CCSP allows manufacturers, shippers, air forwarders and air carriers to receive certification to screen cargo at their own facilities.
