Alston & Bird held the final teleseminar in its six-part series on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on Wednesday, November 17, 1pm-2pm. This series offered a more focused treatment of specific Dodd-Frank reforms and a more practical look at how the reforms may require changes in business operations.
The panelists for the sixth session, Duncan Douglass, Christina LaVera and Joe Yesutis, all members of Alston & Bird's Financial Services and Products Group, discussed the enhanced focus on consumer protection promised under the Dodd-Frank Act, and the practical repercussions for both borrowers and lenders.
