Partners Robert Sullivan and Paul Donohue were quoted in a Charlotte Business Journal article discussing the firm’s second annual Servicing Symposium at the Charlotte Convention Center on October 6. The day-long conference will include presentations by 60 experts in the servicing industry who will discuss the challenges, solutions and strategies for loan servicing and how the business has been affected by the recent economic situation.
Sullivan, head of Alston & Bird’s real estate finance practice, described the symposium’s purpose: “Our goal was to bring industry participants together,” he said. “With some of the country’s largest mortgage servicers headquartered in Charlotte, it seemed natural to have that dialogue here.”
Paul Donohue, leader of the firm’s finance groups, agreed. “Our role in this industry is expanding, and we’ve managed to make this the top industry conference.”
