Bread for the City honored Alston & Bird’s DC office with the Good Hope Award in recognition of its corporate volunteerism. George Jones, executive director of Bread for the City, thanked volunteers and supporters at a breakfast celebration at the Capital Hilton Hotel where Paul Hourigan accepted the award on behalf of Jonathan Fee, Washington Office Pro Bono Chairman and Bread for the City board member. The award certificate reads: In recognition of the invaluable gift of service that helps more than 11,000 DC residents obtain the resources necessary for survival and growth each month.
