Rohan Kale

Rohan Kale's practice includes all areas of intellectual property litigation and counseling, with particular emphasis on patent litigation and enforcement. Mr. Kale has experience in all phases of patent litigation and has represented clients in district courts, as well as in Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. Mr. Kale's litigation experience covers a broad set of technical disciplines, including telecommunications, computer software and web-enabled services.

Mr. Kale received his J.D., cum laude, from the University Of Georgia School Of Law. While in law school, he served as a notes editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Kale earned his B.S. in computer engineering in 2004 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with high honors. While at Georgia Tech, Mr. Kale was part of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society, Eta Kappa Nu.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kale worked as a digital engineer for a multinational telecommunications company.

Representative Experience

  • Nokia Corporation, v. Apple Inc., Civil Action No. 09-791-GMS; United States District Court for the District of Delaware, represented Nokia in a patent infringement litigation against Apple over patents relating to computer and smart phone technology.
  • In the Matter of Certain Mobile Communications and Computer Devices and Components Thereof, Investigation No. 337-TA-704, United States International Trade Commission; represented Nokia in patent infringement litigation against Apple over patents relating to computer and smart phone technology.
