Sean Whittington is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Transactions & Securities Group in the Washington, DC office. He focuses his practice on the representation of both public and private companies in securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions, as well as SEC compliance and corporate governance issues.

Sean received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2008. While at Washington & Lee, Sean was a Lead Articles Editor of the Washington & Lee Law Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, placed second in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition, and was elected to Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from Louisiana State University in 2005.
