The Intersection of Smart Grid Technology and Intellectual Property Issues

Alston & Bird LLP and Exponent hosted this half-day conference on emerging intellectual property issues in the field of clean technology. There was an emphasis on Smart Grid technology, with panels and presentations focusing on Smart Grid patenting trends, Smart Grid IP litigation hot spots and Smart Grid standards-setting and patent issues, as well as intellectual property issues born of increasingly complex generation, transmission and distribution systems.  Panelists included Alston & Bird attorneys, Exponent engineers and consultants and other industry-leading professionals.
