Victoria Davis Lockard is a partner in the firm’s Products Liability Group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of product liability, toxic torts, consumer product class actions and other complex litigation. Ms. Lockard has experience litigating a wide variety of products and exposures, including human tissue allografts, surgical detergent, dialysis products and supplies, drug infusion pumps, pharmaceuticals, ICDs, wireless phones, recreational products, consumer appliances, asbestos, “toxic mold” and isocyanate-containing polyurethane products. Her recent regulatory experience includes advising clients regarding the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, FDA adverse event reporting and investigations, and the FTC's Green Guides and avoidance of "greenwashing" claims.
Ms. Lockard is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Products Liability Committee and Drug and Medical Device Committee, the Trial Attorneys of America, and the Atlanta Bar Association. She currently sits on the board of directors for Dad’s Garage Theatre Company and the leadership board for Georgia State University’s Graduate Health Law Network. She is a frequent speaker and author on issues related to products liability, mass and class actions, medical negligence and general trial practice.
