Lee DeHihns served as section chair and Bruce Pasfield served as a moderator at this conference hosted by the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources. The environmental law conference was developed to provide advanced-level practitioners with insights into the latest developments, challenges and opportunities in the field.
Bruce Pasfield moderated Session 6 titled "Environmental Enforcement and Auditing: On the Point of Compliance" which took place on Saturday, March 15, 10:30am-12:00pm. This session addressed recent developments in the federal government enforcement policies and priorities, and offered insights to anyone planning for potential environmental inspections or responding to enforcement actions. In addition, the panel provided an update on EPA's self-disclosure policy, including its recent efforts to update and improve its use in transactions and acquisitions.
