Duncan Douglass presented "Keeping Pace with Card-Based Payments Industry Legislation and Regulation" on April 22, 4:25pm - 5:15 pm, during this seminar hosted by Source Media Conferences. The days of laissez faire in the payment systems industry appear increasingly distant as legislators and regulators seem intent on reining in perceived industry abuses. From interchange controls to new consumer protections, this session will focus on key legislative and regulatory initiatives (both proposed and recently enacted) affecting constituents in the card-based electronic payments industry. In this session, Duncan will also examine what attendees need to do to keep on the right side of compliance with these existing and proposed requirements.
