The panelists discussed some of the best practices related to current importing issues, including customs valuation in light of the new customs transfer pricing ruling, dealing with other government agencies in your imports and recent issues in customs focused assessments. The panelists also discussed some of the hot issues in export controls and how these are being addressed, including dealing with deemed exports, AES filings and getting them right, including routed exports and recent sanctions, changes and modifications, including "any person" sanctions.
