On Saturday, February 28, 2015, Alston & Bird partnered with Duke Energy and Legal Services of Southern Piedmont for the 4th annual "Wills for Schools" program, a one-day clinic that provided free wills, estate planning and powers of attorney for North Carolina Public School Employees and their immediate family.
- This year's event brought together more than 80 volunteers from Alston & Bird, Duke Energy, Legal Services of Southern Piedmont and other local enterprises
- The team completed wills and related estate planning documents for 118 appreciative clients
- The estimated value of pro bono services provided was more than $110,000
- This event was the largest single-day community service/client partnership event ever undertaken by Alston & Bird
