In this seminar, Alston & Bird attorneys Dave Easwaran, Jim Carroll, Scott Stevens and Mike Kaeding addressed two important issues facing in-house counsel for high-tech companies.

The first part of the seminar addressed software patent protection in the post-Alice world. Our attorneys provided a post-Alice blueprint for invention harvesting and patent prosecution, along with an analysis of PTAB eligibility decisions and a discussion of Alice-related litigation strategies. The second part of the seminar featured an interactive discussion of ethical issues in-house IP counsel encounter on a daily basis.
