Enforcement Trends in the Post-Acute Care Universe

Post-Acute Providers are a prime target for enforcement. We continue to see a trend in government investigations involving post-acute providers focused on medical necessity or the provision of medically unnecessary services and violations of the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. We are also seeing a dramatic increase in the number of qui tam cases being brought against health care companies under the False Claims Act. This one-hour webinar will discuss enforcement trends in the post-acute setting, recent developments in False Claims Act litigation and tips for mitigating risk.

Our panel of speakers — Bill Jordan, Dawnmarie Matlock, Wade Pearson Miller and Kimyatta McClary — conducted a presentation focusing on enforcement against post-acute providers.

This program was approved for one hour of CLE credit. CLE credit is provided for California, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New York and Texas. Additional states are available upon request.
