The National Retail Federation (NRF) 2019 Winter Privacy meeting will focus on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which was enacted last summer. This event will provide attendees with the information they need regarding the potential impact the CCPA could have on retail operations when it becomes effective in 2020, as well as industry efforts to address retailers’ shared concerns with the CCPA. It will also examine the outlook for CCPA amendments to be enacted in 2019 before the new law takes effect, and advocacy opportunities for the retail industry to help influence the outcome.
