Every new position, professional relationship, networking interaction, change in responsibility, and even one-off contact has the potential to present LGBTQ+ individuals with the question of whether to disclose personal information. The reasons both in favor of or for refraining from doing so are many and complex – and influenced by colleagues and allies. We invite the greater in-house community, especially leaders, managers, colleagues, friends, and those facing these situations (meaning everyone!), to join us for this important collaborative dialogue. Hear from Alston & Bird Partner Kevin Minoli who spent 20 years in-house at the EPA (most recently serving as acting GC and principal deputy GC) and a panel of in-house counsel about their experiences in and out of the professional closet, and join in on a focused conversation, with practical tips, to learn how we as a community can better support one another.
