The Fulton County Daily Report, in its October 10, 2000 lead story, reports that the families of four partners from the Dow, Lohnes & Albertson law firm who were killed in a 1998 midair collision over Marietta, Georgia have settled with the federal government and Southern Co. affiliates Georgia Power Co. and Southern Company Services for $42 million. Trial Practice team partners Johnny Stephenson and Jay Bennett, along with associates Chuck Young and Jeff Swart, represented the family of one of the Dow, Lohnes partners, Craig Folds. The Fulton County Daily Report quotes Mr. Stephenson as saying that the settlement "was resolved on terms that reflect the nature of the tragedy."
