Alston & Bird LLP Makes Top Ten on Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For in America"

Atlanta’s Largest Law Firm Recognized for Third Consecutive Year

Alston & Bird LLP, a leading Atlanta-based full-service law firm, today announced it has been named to Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For in America” list for the third consecutive year. The firm jumped 15 places to reach the No. 9 position in the 2002 rankings. Alston & Bird was ranked No. 24 in 2001 and No. 36 in 2000.

This year’s candidate pool consisted of 279 companies. A survey of randomly selected employees by The Great Place to Work® Institute measures the quality of workplace culture and accounts for two-thirds of the final ranking score. Alston & Bird earned high marks for its diversity employment with a 57 percent female employee ratio and a
21 percent minority workforce.
