Previously, Crumly was a senior associate at Buist, Moore, Smythe & McGee, P.A., in the firm’s Construction Practice Group in Charleston, S.C. There he oversaw cases involving pursuit and defense of breach of contract claims, performance bond claims, payment bond claims, mechanics’ lien claims and defective construction claims, and cases involving design professional negligence and contract negotiations.
Crumly is a prolific author of construction law-related articles and a frequent speaker at construction industry seminars. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Steering Committee of Division 7 of its Forum on the Construction Industry; the Georgia Bar Association; and the South Carolina Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, South Carolina, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
