George Winborne Comments on Provisional Patent Application in Triangle Tech News

George Winborne was quoted in the July 26, 2002 Triangle Tech News article, "Patents help to set a company's value." He commented on the provisional application that inventors may chose to file with the U.S. patent office. The application allows a company an extra year to secure financing and finish the regulatory process.

George stated, "it gives a small company time to decide if it will go forward with the patent process. It also gives these companies more time to court investors for venture capital."
